Battery life is one of the most important aspects of today’s smartphones, but Oukitel has taken it to a whole new level with their latest device. The WP100 Titan has a battery that lives up to its name, offering up to 4,459 hours of life, which equates to about six months.
While that’s probably one of, if not, the longest-lasting smartphone batteries currently on the market, it will only last that long if it’s on standby. The Titan’s 33,000mAh battery will need to recharge a little sooner when you’re actively using it, but it will still last a very long time. Oukitel says it is good for up to 289 hours of talking on the phone and 49 hours of video viewing.
That impressive battery comes at a cost though, with the Titan weighing in at 1.9 pounds. It has a 6.8-inch, 120Hz display and on the back is a 1,200-lumen LED camp light that can be used for up to 150 hours. There’s also a built-in projector, a 200-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel infrared night vision camera, a two-megapixel macro camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. All that is powered by a 2.5GHz MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. The Titan is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign, with units expected to ship as early as April 2025.
