The upside is that this vehicle has a swimming pool, a mini-golf course and even a helipad, and it can fit up to 75 people. The bad news is that it’s so long it’s absurdly difficult to drive anywhere.

Called The American Dream, the car started out as six separate Cadillac Eldorados. The original version, built in 1986 by Jay Ohrberg, was 60 feet long. He later extended it another 40 feet, when it captured the world record for the longest vehicle. Eventually, it was abandoned in a warehouse in New Jersey.

After a few stints on eBay, the car eventually found its way into the hands of Michael Dezer of Dezerland Park Car Museum in Orlando, Fla. Together with a team that included Michael Manning, whom Dezer purchased the vehicle from, he set about restoring it. Three years and more than $250,000 later, The American Dream is once again in top condition, and with another 1.5 inches added to its length, it beat its previous record as the world’s longest vehicle.

Manning said the team has looked into what it would take to turn The American Dream into an electric vehicle, and though not impossible, it would be quite a feat. It would require a separate motor for each of the 26 wheels, and the battery would likely be enormous. Though with seating for 75 people, there would definitely be room for it.
