Humane, a startup that makes wearable tech, has been teasing its first device for a while now, with the only good look at it coming during Paris Fashion Week when Naomi Campbell wore it. Now, the full details have finally been released, and the device is pretty much exactly what its name suggests.

The AI Pin functions as a wearable voice assistant that you interact with primarily through voice commands. On the rare occasions when you really need a screen, it will reportedly project a virtual one onto your hand. It doesn’t connect to a smartphone, instead using T-Mobile’s network and Humane’s own MVNO. You’ll have to pay $24 a month for unlimited talk, text and data. The device is scheduled to ship early next year.
