Is Apple finally going to stop autocorrecting our ducking curse words?

Answer: Yes.

Sometimes, being PG in a text just doesn’t ducking cut it. Apple’s autocorrect feature, however, has always strongly been against anything other than PG terms — until now.

Apple has finally gotten the ducking memo and decided to let you use a curse word when you really want to. During its 2023 Worldwide Developers Conference last week, the company announced its new AI-powered keyboard for iOS. Among other features, the keyboard will be able to learn when certain, shall we say, “adult” words are not ducking typos.

“And in those moments where you just want to type a ducking word, well, the keyboard will learn it, too,” said Apple Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi. The Internet is, understandably, ducking excited about it.
