How can NASA travel to Mars in just a few days?

Answer: photonic propulsion

In a video posted to YouTube by NASA 360, Phillip Lubin of the University of California, Santa Barbara explains how scientists can easily approach the speed of light at the microscopic level and are now pushing their technologies to larger objects. The progress of such interplanetary and interstellar technologies would potentially enable humans to reach new habitable locations (relatively) near to Earth.

Photonic propulsion is a mode of travel scientists are now refining that could be used to propel a 100 kg robotic craft to Mars within a few days.
