Star Wars fans are understandably excited about a new type of personal electric vehicle after seeing the prototype in a marketing video. That’s because it looks a whole lot like the vehicles used for the fictional sport known as podracing, depicted in the film The Phantom Menace.

The vehicle in question is a low-flying single-seater created by Swedish company Jetson. Known as the Jetson ONE, it flies using eight motors and can reportedly remain in the air even if one of them is damaged. It has a maximum speed of about 63 mph and can fly for 20 minutes between charges.

While it may be tempting to experience podracing yourself, you’ll have to wait a while, and it won’t be cheap. The current device is only a prototype — the commercial version isn’t expected until 2023 and will cost $92,000.
