If you’ve spent any time on the interwebs lately, you’ve probably heard of the puzzle game Wordle currently taking the Internet by storm. And with the Internet being what it is, there are also plenty of spoof versions circulating too.
There’s Sweardle, which is just like the original game but with much more colorful words (and appropriate congratulatory phrases when you win). Queerdle runs in a similar vein, selling itself as the “yassification of wordle.” Not to mention Letterle, where you’re just guessing one letter instead of a word, so it’s just random clicking and hoping you win.
And then there’s Absurdle, which does exactly what its name suggests, making utter nonsense out of the game. You just have to try that one for yourself.
