What is a digital pumpkin spice latte and how much does it cost?

Answer: An NFT that'll set you back $20.

There’s truly nothing pumpkin spice-related that Starbucks can’t find a way to capitalize on. In honor of the 20-year anniversary of its wildly popular fall drink, the coffee chain is selling digital versions of it.

The lattes will be sold as nonfungible tokens, or NFTs. There will be four different versions: spiced, whipped, iced and steamed. They will be sold between Oct. 5 and Oct. 9 via an open edition for $20 each. Furthermore, members of the company’s Web3 platform Starbucks Odyssey who buy all four versions will get a special “opportunity.” More details, presumably, to come later.
