What is Heineken calling its new flip phone?

Answer: The Boring Phone.

Heineken wants people to get off their phones and interact more, presumably over one of its brews. The beer maker has partnered with fashion brand Bodega and device maker HMD to create a cellphone that’s so boring you’ll want to use it sparingly.

Aptly named the Boring Phone, the device is basically a new version of the flip phones of old. It has a green screen, transparent casing and simple keypad. While Heineken didn’t offer details on what exactly the Boring Phone will and won’t be capable of, it did note that it will be “unable to download social media or other apps that take away from being present.”

A single charge provides 20 hours of talk time and can keep the device going for up to a week in standby mode. The Boring Phone will make its debut on April 18 at Milan Design Week.
