The Texas city of Amarillo has a bit of a conundrum on its hands. At about 1:25 a.m. May 21, cameras at the Amarillo Zoo captured something strange. So strange that zoo and city officials were unable to identify it, so they’ve turned to the modern age’s favorite information source for help: the Internet.

The city of Amarillo tweeted the image this week asking, “Is it a person with a strange hat who likes to walk at night? A chupacabra? Do you have any ideas of what this UAO- Unidentified Amarillo Object could be?”

As of about midday Thursday, the tweet had upward of 260 retweets and 1,040 likes. Of course, with the Internet being what it is, they got all sorts of possible answers. People suggested everything from Elvis to bobcats. And at least one person called it out as fake, because it wouldn’t be the Internet if someone didn’t.
