What’s better than music and a lollipop?

Answer: A lollipop that plays music.

Even better, the music plays directly into your head so only you can hear it. One of the many devices to hit the show floor at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year was a lollipop/speaker combo.

Lava Brands’ Lollipop Star uses bone conduction technology to play music in your head as you consume the lolly. When you gently bite down, it sends vibrations through your teeth and jaw to your inner ear, much like bone conduction headphones. Each lollipop comes with one preloaded song, and the flavor is paired with an artist. For example, with a peach-flavored lolly you’ll get a song by Ice Spice, while lime will have a song by Armani White. The lollipops will sell for $9 each on the Lollipop Star website and through select retailers.
