Ted Lasso fans will get the chance to try out the show’s fictional dating app Bantr in real life this week. In the show, Bantr works by matching people without showing them each other’s photos, so they only get to know one another over text. Therefore, two of the characters have been chatting with (and of course falling for, since this is TV) each other without realizing it.

Real-world dating app Bumble is bringing that experience to life in a weekly event with Bantr Live. Starting Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. local time, users who RSVP for Bantr Live will be automatically connected with someone the app pairs them with based on search preferences. They’ll have three minutes to interact through text only, no photos, and then they’ll be asked if they want to continue the connection. At that point, the chat will be transferred to Bumble’s usual queue and they’ll be able to view each other’s photos.

“Bantr Live enables our community to connect with someone unexpected and learn more about a person before seeing them. We look forward to people on Bumble having fun with Bantr Live and connecting and dating in a new and exciting way,” said Olivia Yu, global VP of partnerships for Bumble.
