NASA and Netflix are teaming up to bring live space content to more viewers. In the coming months, live programming from NASA+ will also become available on Netflix. This includes live content like rocket launches, spacewalks, mission coverage and live views of Earth from the International Space Station.

NASA’s content will be available on all of Netflix’s subscription tiers. Details on programming and schedules will be announced before the service launches. This new partnership will make it easier for NASA to get its content to more viewers by tapping into Netflix’s subscriber base of more than 700 million.

“The National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 calls on us to share our story of space exploration with the broadest possible audience,” said NASA+ General Manager Rebecca Sirmons. “Together, we’re committed to a Golden Age of Innovation and Exploration — inspiring new generations — right from the comfort of their couch or in the palm of their hand from their phone.”
