Twitter CEO Elon Musk isn’t interested in talking to the press. So much so, in fact, that he has reportedly set up an automatic reply from the platform’s official press contact email address.
According to Gizmodo, emails to Twitter’s press account have been going unanswered for months, until now. As of this weekend, any messages sent to the account will get an automatic reply with a single poop emoji. That’s it. Musk confirmed the change over the weekend in a tweet, “press@twitter.com now auto responds with 💩,” suggesting that it was most likely his idea.
Twitter responded to Gizmodo’s request for comment: “💩.”
