Coating Prevents Electromagnetic Radiation from Escaping from Devices Containing Sensitive Data

A company called Unitech developed UniShield, a coating that blocks electromagnetic frequencies from leaving a building. The Unishield coating can be brushed rolled or sprayed onto walls and materials including plastic, cotton, metal, wood and masonry. Emsec Systems, another company Unitech created, makes cases for laptops, cell phones and PDA that keep signals from reaching the equipment once it is placed in the pouches.
