Prospect Heights, Ill., Installs Video Surveillance of City Hall

The installation, completed last month, is the first of three phases aimed at upgrading security in Prospect Heights

IPIX announced yesterday that it has installed surveillance cameras and image analytics at the Prospect Heights, Ill., city hall in order to improve the security of the building. The cameras, which provide a 360-degress view, are monitored remotely at the Prospect Heights Police Department. The cameras monitor vulnerable areas around the city hall including parking lots, outside doors and the main entrance.

The installation, completed last month, is the first of three phases aimed at upgrading security in Prospect Heights. The next two will secure other high-risk public facilities.
