Hawaii CIO Talks Island Broadband (VIDEO)

Last summer, Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie’s office announced a plan to make affordable 1 Gbps broadband connectivity available to underserved and rural communities, businesses and public institutions throughout the state.

As Hawaii's CIO, that job falls to Sonny Bhagowalia, who we spoke to at the 2012 NASCIO Annual Conference in San Diego about how the state plans to make such connectivity a reality.
