General Services Administration Extends IT Training Contract

June 11, 2007 By

The federal government's General Services Administration (GSA) has extended its contract with Learning Tree International to run from May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2012. Learning Tree President and General Manager, Don Berbary, said, "The extension of our contract with GSA, coupled with our continued status as a leading training provider for the federal government, underscores our commitment to deliver consistently high-quality education to our customers in the public sector. It also confirms that our course offerings, particularly those focused on ITIL certification and implementation, IPv6 and service-oriented architecture (SOA), provide the skills that are critical to their current needs. Furthermore, we plan to establish a new education center in Alexandria, Va. to augment our existing facilities in the Washington, D.C., area."
