In Connecticut, 14 hospitals and clinics won $5.7 million in the aggregate, including Yale New Haven Hospital, which got $1 million, and affiliates Bridgeport Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Lawrence Memorial Hospital and Northeast Medical Group, which received another $2.3 million combined.
Community Health Center in Middletown received nearly $1 million from the FCC. Other large amounts awarded statewide included $430,000 to Fair Haven Community Health Clinic in New Haven; and just over $300,000 for The Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Smaller totals went to Torrington’s McCall Center; the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington; Positive Directions in Westport; InterCommunity Hartford; and Reliance Health in Norwich.
