New Social Networking Community Links Family Medicine Practitioners

www.5minutemd.com is a new online community for family medicine practitioners.

Publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) today announced the launch of www.5minutemd.com, a new online community for family medicine practitioners. LWW is part of Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health and pharmacy.

The new site builds on the success of LWW's popular 5-Minute Medical Clinical Consult 2010, according to a statement from the company, and gives health professionals the ability to connect, exchange ideas, belong to groups, take part in forum discussions, post blogs, view videos from 5-Minute, stay updated on events relating to primary care, test their knowledge with a monthly quiz, access free clinical content from the 5-Minute companion Website, invite friends, and more.
