TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) has won a Federal contract to supply a complete secure satellite communications (satcom) network for an agency of the U.S. government. TCS will provide the agency with its SwiftLink deployable communication suite, a complete, end-to-end communications solution that incorporates satellite terminals as well as the space segment and a communications hub. TCS incorporated the hub and remote equipment from iDirect Technologies Inc. (iDirect), a subsidiary of VT Systems Inc.
