Forbes.com to Carry AnchorFree's Global Free Wi-Fi Directory

Forbes.com also provides Hotspot Shield security solution -- a free service to protect PC and Apple users from hackers at wireless hotspots.

AnchorFree, the world's largest free Wi-Fi network and community, consisting of more than 12,000 wireless hotspots in over 2,400 cities worldwide, today announced that its Wi-Fi directory is now available on Forbes.com http://forbes.anchorfree.com. The directory can be sorted by Country, State, City, Postal Code and Category (i.e. cafe, hotel, park etc).

"Forbes.com visitors are busy professionals often working away from the office," said Michael Smith, VP and general manager, Forbes.com. "With AnchorFree, we're able to help them quickly and efficiently find free Wi-Fi access wherever they may be in the world, as well as a free security solution to protect them from hackers while they're online."

"AnchorFree is committed to spreading the use of free Wi-Fi far and wide," said David Gorodyansky, president and co-founder of AnchorFree. "By partnering with Forbes.com, we're helping their community stay connected anytime, anywhere while they're on the road."

Forbes.com is carrying AnchorFree's list of the largest global network of free Wi-Fi hotspots in the world, in addition to offering its Hotspot Shield security solution (a free service to protect PC and Apple users from hackers at wireless hotspots) and the AnchorFree "wiPod" application, which allows users to download lists of local hotspots to the "Notes" section of their iPods.
