Nexus ISR Introduces a State of the Art Instant Internet Data Access Device Called the Nexus Hawk

A portable and mobile high speed data access device originating from a DOD requirement "Connects Any Network, Anytime, Anywhere"

Nexus ISR, LLC has recently announced the Nexus Hawk, a gateway/router linking Broadband Cellular, Wi-Fi and WAN networks enabling enterprises the flexibility and convenience of broadband wireless internet/network data services in mobile and remote environments. The Hawk is the only device on the market with 2 external air card slots providing access to 4 simultaneous WANS and GPS.

The Hawk's original development was funded under a DOD prime contract. "We are excited about commercializing this technology now making it available for enterprise commercial solutions," stated Eric Sargent, president of Nexus ISR. He also stated, "The product is being used by first responders across the Northeast United States and growing demand in digital video surveillance, construction, mass transit and remote applications."

The Nexus Hawk device is a state of the art technology that provides clients secure access to public and private wired and wireless networks. The Hawk also provides integrated GPS for applications such as AVL, Geo-Based Dispatch and Navigation. The Hawk provides connectivity to multiple simultaneous WAN paths with user-selectable order for failover.

The Nexus Hawk is technology agnostic withstanding ever changing networks. According to Mr. Sargent, "The Hawk provides instant access to the latest available networks such as the new broadband cellular networks or even the private Public Safety Band. We met our goal to provide an easy to use plug and play communications gateway." The product is compatible with all carrier networks and will be compatible with upcoming networks such as WiMAX.
