President Biden Warns of Russian Cyberattacks

We've been waiting, and waiting and waiting.

I warned of the eventual Russian cyberattacks that were sure to come. So far—nada, zip, zero, zilch! I'm beyond surprised.

When the United States imposed sanction after sanction on the Russian economy and its leaders, I thought, "Now they will attack USA interests to include critical infrastructures. Nope!

Then today, there is this item, Biden warns business leaders to prepare for Russian cyber attacks

If you recall the Biden Administration has been very good with predicting what was going to happen next, when it comes to Russian intentions. They took intelligence, scrubbed it and made it available via messaging to the world.

Thus, when we get this today, "... Biden issued a statement pointing to "evolving intelligence" to suggest Russia could conduct malicious cyber activityagainst American companies and critical infrastructure."

There are several scenarios that Russia could use. Their own formable cyber capabilities, or they could turn the "criminal Russian cyber-dogs loose" and tell them to wreck havoc and make some money for themselves.

Why not before now—who knows? But, forewarned is forearmed, so be prepared in the coming days to see digital disruptions here in the United States.
