Central Puget Sound Earthquake Exercise

It has been ten years since the last earthquake exercise held here in Washington State's Central Puget Sound. This past week on Wednesday the region collectively held Sound Shake 08.

I believe in exercises. Yes you need to have a plan, and training is important, but I've found exercises energize people and organizations to ratchet up their preparedness efforts. For whatever reason the date on the calendar motivates people to take action now and not put off to tomorrow what seems like it can be delayed.
