WINTER PASS DRIVING UPDATES

CLOSED
I-90 is still closed at Snoqualmie Pass due to extreme avalanche danger, and five feet of snow in five days. The highway is closed between Edgewick (MP 34) and Ellensburg (MP 106). Friday at 9 a.m. is the earliest WSDOT will be able to assess the effects of this storm and our ability to reopen Snoqualmie Pass. WSDOT will continue to update the Web page with the most current information about the conditions on the pass: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/passes/snoqualmie/
Eastern Washington is still facing extreme winter driving conditions between Moses Lake and the Idaho border. Many roadway sections in Eastern Washington are closed (including SR 27 and SR 272) due to snow that has drifted across the highway in numerous locations, making them impassable. US 2 Stevens Pass is open to all traffic. Road may close periodically for avalanche control work. Chains required on all vehicles except all wheel drive, Oversize vehicles prohibited.
US 12 over White Pass is open. Traction Tires Required, Chains required on Vehicles over 10,000 gross vehicle weight. Oversize Vehicles Prohibited.
