A Property Insurance Disaster Is Looming

We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Property insurance is a basic need for anyone who owns what is termed “real property.” That means houses, commercial buildings and businesses. Besides being a prudent investment to protect your assets, insurance is also a requirement for anyone who has a mortgage.

See the opinion piece linked below that I authored for the Puget Sound Business Journal:

“Opinion: Our property insurance crisis has been a long time coming”

This crisis impacting the insurance industry will touch everyone who owns property and if my projection is correct, when the federal government starts backing “all-hazard” risk insurance, everyone will be paying for the risks individuals have assumed by where they choose to live and build.
