A "Retread Blog Post" on What Went Wrong with the COVID-19 Test Kits

How did we get to this time in history? Promised kits have yet to arrive.

After the announcement on Friday, March 13 of a new partnership with the private sector to produce many more COVID-19 test kits, I think it is good to review, What Went Wrong with the Coronavirus Test Kits.

Let's just say that there were some bureaucratic hurdles, as in rules and regulations that existed in the CDC system for the production of test kits. If we take that at face value, then all the work that has been done over the last three years by the Trump administration to eliminate unnecessary rules and regulations would likely have taken care of that problem, much as they have done with the EPA, etc.

After all, they have had more than three years to "fix the problems" of the previous administrations. Right? What have they been waiting for? A crisis?
