Animated Video--Disaster Preparedness

A new way of messaging disaster preparedness.

Bellevue Washington has produced an animated video on the topic of disaster preparedness.  See Ways to Survive

This is the type of creative communications that I think we need to be exploring as we reach out to people in the 21st Century with disaster preparedness messages.

Is it the slickest production since Ben-Hur (OK who is Ben-Hur?), no--but, it is on the mark when it comes to trying new and different ideas.  It puts the tri-fold brochure in the closet where I think it will soon be relegated to.

If I was going to change one thing about the video it would probably be the sound/voice quality.  My old infantry ears have trouble following the lyrics, just as they do with any hiphop tune.
