Cruise Industry Being Left in the Wake of the Coronavirus

The cruise industry had been a hot spot for tourism.

It was less than a year ago that the maritime magazine that I would receive monthly had story after story of new cruise ships being ordered, built and launched. Now today -- it is crickets, mostly because the maritime magazine has ceased operations. A foretelling of what is happening in the cruise industry overall.

Here are two stories:

Holland America sells 4 cruise ships, will sail only 2 from Seattle when cruising resumes.

Another cruise line bankruptcy as COVID impact on industry deepens.

If you are in the market for a "really big boat," you can likely pick one up cheap!
