Did Dr. Fauci Manufacture the COVID-19 Virus?

Be very careful what you watch and read.

Yikes! I understand that with the proliferation of online media and right- and left-wing conspiracy theories, that a "thinking person" can generally avoid the really wacko ideas being spread by sticking to mainstream media. I am becoming more concerned when what would be previously considered conservative, but still mainline media has stories like this reported by the Washington Post, Sinclair TV stations delay airing interview with ‘Plandemic’ researcher amid backlash.

A quote from the article is this, "Sinclair, which has 191 stations across the country, received backlash this week after “America This Week” host Eric Bolling interviewed Judy Mikovits, a former medical researcher featured in the debunked “Plandemic” conspiracy online film.

In the Sinclair interview, Mikovits claimed that Fauci “manufactured” the coronavirus and shipped it to Wuhan, China, where the outbreak originated. A chyron during the segment reads, “DID DR. FAUCI CREATE COVID-19?”

There is such a thing as free speech, yet you can't get up in a theater and yell, "Fire!" Why not? It is detrimental to public safety and well-being. Likewise we expect our media outlets to eliminate baseless, made-up, crazy conspiracy theories from people who are just looking for attention and clicks on their websites that give them money in their pockets.

I could do the same, but then I could not sleep at night because I have a conscience. Others evidently do not.

The above is another example of how we need to be much more careful these days when we read, watch or listen to the news. You are your own best filter. Just get out of the echo chamber if that is where you are now, consuming news only from sites that espouse what you believe. A diversity of opinions is needed in the 21st century.

Winnowing is an ancient method for separating grain from the chaff. You throw up both in the air and let the wind blow the lighter-weight chaff away while the grains (of truth) fall to the floor to be swept up and eaten later as bread. Be sure you are only consuming the grain and not the chaff that is blowing all around these days.
