East vs. West Coast Earthquakes

The shaking extends further away.

We don't read much about earthquakes on the East Coast. They do happen, like the one that damaged the Washington Monument a few years back. Today I learned that East Coast earthquakes can be felt much further away than those generated on the West Coast. Learn more at East vs West Coast Earthquakes.
