Four Stages of Denial for Businesses

An adaptation for businesses looking at the impacts of the pandemic.

Liddy Bakker shared this link, ‘Four Stages of Denial’ still rampant post lockdown.

When looking for someone to blame for your situation, remember that no matter what has happened to you, you are still "response-able." If you can't keep doing what you were doing and succeed, change it all up! Throw out the old business plan and come up with something new. It might have to be a totally new business.

I've been using the Four Stages of Denial for many years, 20-25 maybe? It seems to fit most situations when it comes to disasters and how people wish them and their need for action away.

If you missed my earlier blog post in May, modifying the standard 4 stages to adapt it to 4 Stages of COVID-19 Denial you can read it at the link.
