Job: City of Seattle Office of Emergency Management

Seattle OEM is hiring a Communications Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing and implementing communications plans and strategies that align with and support the fulfillment of the Citywide Emergency Management Program.

This position works closely with other OEM staff who serve as subject matter experts within their respective program areas, staff from other city departments who have a role in the emergency management, community partners from various sectors (private, not-for-profit, schools, etc.) and regional partners.

These stakeholders contribute to the City's Joint Information System and the program's overall communications goals and capabilities. This position reports to the Community Relations Manager.
