The pay is certainly a positive--just remember the cost of living in the Greater Seattle Metro area. I've known all the people who have held this position for many years. The importance of having electricity is akin to having a functional transportation system. When there is no power, much of our 21st Century functions come to a screeching halt.
Anyone who finally gets this position needs to contact me about "a very important facility" that they need to keep the power on at.
