Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the Division’s expert on the topics of process improvement, benchmarking and the FHWA strategic planning process.
  • Advising and consulting with the Division Director and Leadership Team on organizational management-related issues and their application to and effect on project and program delivery systems.
  • Leading Division employee and customer surveys, evaluation and analysis of responses, and development and implementation of subsequent action plans.
  • Communicating the relevance of quality management processes and activities to employees and management.
  • Tracking and summarizing Division accomplishments for the FLHD annual report.
  • Facilitating meetings across organizational boundaries through planning, action, feedback, and review.

Ideal Candidates:

The ideal candidates for each of these positions will have excellent communication and program management skills, are team players, have experience in developing programs to improve the performance of an organization, and have experience in leading a wide variety of complex studies evaluating business processes and systems management. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with public speaking and facilitating.
