Multicultural Coronavirus Public Updates

They are trying to address the linguistic challenges of getting information to the public.

Public Health Seattle — King County is doing its best to provide daily updates on COVID-19 to the general public. One of their measures is translating the information into some of the more common languages prevalent in this metropolitan community. See the list of languages on the right side of the website.

You might want to watch this website because they were one of the places in the nation (actually the first) that had an outbreak of the disease. If we are at (we should be) community transmission, the increase in cases and deaths should inch up here early in the timeline.

Once again, the issue is the lack of testing kits and thus — testing. So, we are flying blind!
