Near Earth Objects: THE TORINO IMPACT HAZARD SCALE

For Near Earth Objects there is a scale to rate them and their potential impact to Earth.

We rate the dangers of tornadoes and hurricanes.  For earthquakes there are two scales and now I've found the one for Near Earth Objects The Torino Impact Hazard Scale  Call them asteroids or flying rocks, if they hit earth they can be a game changer.

Just when you think you have your Hazard Identification Vulnerability Assessment (HIVA) updated (the title it was known by for a number of years) lately it was changed to Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA), but to really be current it is now the Threat and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (THIRA).  Anyway, add New Earth Objects to it and wait for the next change to the acronym which will make me want to HEAVA (throw-up).

Golly, is it me or does the world keep getting more dangerous?  E TORINO IMPACT HAZARD SCALE
