New Zealand Volcano, a Failure to Warn

Details are starting to come out.

I blogged on the New Zealand volcano eruption yesterday and how it caught tourists unaware. As I surmised, there were precursor rumblings from the volcano that had been monitored.

Watch in the days ahead. I expect "heads will roll" for a failure to warn. You can bet that all tourist activities to the volcano would have been suspended had there been any form of warning issued.
