One Church's Response to the Coronavirus COVID-19 in Washington State

All churches should be reviewing their operational procedures at this point.

Our Savior Lutheran Church (OSLC) here in Washington state assembled its leadership team to review what their response would be to the threat of coronavirus being present in the state and the nation.

I helped review their procedures, which they have documented on their website with the title Health. Faith. Wellness.

They have done a good job at looking the manner in which they can continue conduct the various aspects of their ministry and serve people.

One of their advantages for a situation like we are facing is the use of technology. Check out their home page and there you will see that they can accommodate social distancing in worship services by livestreaming worship and also having a digital way to for people to donate to the ministries of the church.

I'm reminded of the saying, "Success comes when preparation and opportunity meet." In this case, it is not so much opportunity, but their preparation that will pay off.
