Robotic Birds Are Here!

A modern-day scarecrow.

Bird strikes are serious business when it comes to commercial planes landing and taking off around airports. You only need to remember the Jan. 15, 2009 Miracle on the Hudson plane crash to know the threat is real.

I've heard of dogs being used to police the runways, simulated gunshots, etc. ,but I had not heard of robo birds like those produced by Clear Flight Solutions  They have different types of robotic birds that fly and as configured as predator species, they keep other birds away.

It is another "robotic" solution and example of what is coming our way in the future. Perhaps a robo emergency manager?
