State-by-State Mitigation Numbers

How well did your state do in maximizing the benefits of mitigation funding?

There is a new Pew Trust article out on a study by the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS), Data Highlight State-by-State Benefits of Federal Natural Disaster Mitigation Grants.

You can look at a state-by-state comparison (except for Hawaii and Alaska) as to the cost benefit analysis for disaster impact reduction.

This will become much more important as mitigation funding is expected to ramp up significantly in FFY 2020-21 and beyond.

The NIBS report can be found here.
