The question I have is, "Will people pay the prices being advertised to attend a virtual event?" See the Registration Fee Page for the price by category. This is the same question that many college students are asking about the cost versus the experience of learning on campus or sitting at home in your bedroom.
Dollar for dollar, the IAEM experience is cheaper, but I know there are many emergency managers who attend conferences for the ability to meet other people, network and just plain "get away" from the grind at the office.
It will be interesting to see how registrations go this year when compared to in-person conferences of the past.
