Trump Fires Head of Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency

"Don't cloud my narrative with facts" is the message.

Today, Tuesday, Nov. 17, President Trump fired Chris Krebs, head of the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

This agency monitored the 2020 elections and pronounced them to be secure with no widespread fraud. The Washington Post said, "Mr. Krebs did not immediately respond to questions for comment. But after his termination, he tweeted from his personal account: 'Honored to serve. We did it right. Defend Today, Secure Tomorrow. #Protect2020'.”

Loyalty over facts. Acquiescence is valued more than truth.

As I shared previously, be careful which team you join. Is the team principle centered or do they go with the flow for what the boss wants? The higher you are in the organization, the sooner you will be faced with having to confront bowing to pressures put on you to do what is expected, or to do the right thing. Doing the right thing is almost always to the detriment of your career. So be it — sleep well, and tell your children and grandchildren what you did to honor the family name.

Remember, this is not just a government thing, these behaviors exist in the private sector too.
