Record Breaking Number of Nominees Compete for Information Security Executive of the Year

Fifty-One IT security leaders nominated from diverse fields

Executive Alliance announced today the nominees for the third annual Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year National Award 2006. The anchor event of the CSI Executive Retreat Featuring the ISE National Awards, the Awards Gala and Ceremony will take place on the evening of November 6, 2006 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The nominees represent a diverse field of businesses and industries and include representatives from all over the United States. In its third year, the ISE National Award is the culmination of the 2006 ISE Program Series? and is granted for excellence in enterprise-wide risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, information security, Internet and network security systems.

Nominee applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will select five finalists and a winner. Those results will not be known until the finalists are showcased and the winner's name revealed at the gala ceremony on November 6, 2006. The winner of the National Award will join six other industry leaders who have been selected as ISE of the Year for a specific region within the U.S.
