Description: County of Albemarle Virginia RFP # 2001-05023-51 Consultant to Create a Web Based Query System using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server The County of Albemarle (the County) Virginia is requesting proposals for consulting services from qualified vendors to plan, design and code a Web based Query System using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server. All coding must be developed to allow for easy maintenance by staff within Information Technology. All Coding must provide quick response time via the County's Internet and Intranet. On-site design and coding of an appropriate security module and on-line database administration functions. On-site assistance with data modeling as needed. On-site coding of the Web based Query System utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server and other products as appropriate for the County's development effort. (Example: Microsoft Visual Source Safe) On-site conversion of the County's IBM (VSE/ESA VSAM) mainframe files to Microsoft SQL Server files.
