- Real-time threat protection: features the dynamic shielding architecture which automatically recognizes attack threat points and dynamically protects those threat points against the inevitable attack. Sentivist determines critical vulnerabilities and changes to the network, alerts the security manager to these threat points and automatically deploys the proper signature sets to protect those threat points before the inevitable attack occurs.

These vulnerabilities can be ranked by severity, by impact or by application, in real-time.

Simple point and click actions allow them to focus on specific, suspicious events to monitor the source's activity and potentially take action, providing the ultimate in situational awareness and control.
- Protection beyond intrusion, prevention and detection: delivers an added layer of security to a customer's network with fully functional firewall capabilities, allowing the security manager to create, edit and delete firewall rule definitions as needed.
- Extreme usability: boasts a broad set of usability features such as a new wizard-driven approach to implementation and policy management, enhanced reporting features and the ability for security managers to tap directly into NFR Security's renowned rapid response signature team to receive protection against the latest threats.
