In Case You Missed It: State of GovTech 2025 — Innovation Launchpad Winners

Representatives from Magic Notes (powered by Beam), Chief AI and Madison AI, selected as winning startups by a panel of judges at the 2025 State of GovTech event, discuss their innovative solutions and visions for the future of government.

For the past several years, Government Technology has partnered with CivStart to sponsor the annual State of GovTech event — showcasing the potential for innovation in the public sector, inspiring the audience to think creatively about using technology to address pressing challenges and deliver high-quality services to their communities.

Each year, promising gov tech startup companies are invited to pitch their companies and their solutions to a panel of judges including government employees, industry experts and gov tech investors. During the 2025 event, 24 separate companies were evaluated by the panel with three rising to the top as the “winners.”

On today’s episode, e.Republic's* vice president of content strategy, Steve Towns, gives each of these companies an opportunity to introduce themselves and present their gov tech solutions to our audience.

Whether these tools are empowering staff as the workhorse for local government systems of record, removing hours of manual process to manage a leader’s time, relationships and priorities, or creating fine-tuned documents for social services organizations, all of them showcase the use of AI to make government more efficient, cost-effective and responsive.
In Case You Missed It is Government Technology’s news roundup and interview live show featuring e.Republic* President Dustin Haisler and Chief Innovation Officer Joe Morris as they bring their analysis and insight to important stories in state and local government.

*e.Republic is Government Technology’s parent company.
