The new institute, on the first floor of Bisgrove Hall, will feature a collaboration hub with a flexible technology-enabled space, a computer lab with financial trading terminals and industry-standard business software, and a classroom of the future simulating complex decision-making environments.
The new space bears the name of West Herr Automotive Group President and CEO Scott Bieler, who, through the Scott Bieler Family Foundation, donated $750,000 toward the facility’s $2 million cost. He will speak at the event on Wednesday along with NU President Rev. James Maher, Mark Frascatore, the dean of the Holzschuh College of Business Administration, and West Herr Sales Manager Kevin Schwindler, a NU alumnus.
The addition comes as the College of Business Administration adds more ethical components to its coursework.
