Where's Waldo? Where's Azar?

Azar has been benched!

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar was a prominent person in the early days of the coronavirus response — and, appropriately so, given his responsibilities. If you have not noticed, he is has been officially declared "missing in action."

There have been some serious stumbles by the current administration in rolling out the federal response to COVID-19. Anyone who thinks the response was "perfect" needs to do more reading and looking at our nation's statistics in comparison to other nations that have performed much better at flattening the curve. How we do at not re-energizing the virus in comparison to other countries will be another data point to examine in the future.

See this Politico article, White House snubs Azar, installs Trump loyalist Michael Caputo as HHS spokesperson.

Here's my analysis of the situation. This administration has weak players from top to bottom. They are busy feathering their own nests, fighting with other players in the administration, all the while trying to hang on to positions and power while trying to please the boss. See Cabinet fawning began early and continues to this day.

Speaking truth to power is never easy and currently — it is not allowed!
